1110 Cal Poly Alumni Association

1110.1 Establishment

The University President recognizes the Cal Poly Alumni Association (CPAA) as the University’s exclusive alumni organization and confers upon the Association the right to represent itself as such and to use the University’s name in the name of the Association. The CPAA may enter into and manage, on behalf of the University, affinity service and goods arrangements for alumni, prospective alumni, parents and friends, within regulatory and policy requirements as authorized by the University President. Administrative services are provided by University employees as outlined by a formal Memorandum of Understanding.

1110.2 Policies of the CPAA

The CPAA is governed by a board of directors, elected from among Cal Poly alumni, and operates under policies established by the board of directors.
