Conference Services

The office of Conference Services reports, for daily operations, to the Dean of Cal Poly Continuing Education to help insure full coordination and oversight of conferencing support management.  Conference Services provides workshop, seminar, facilities, and conference support services to on- and off-campus units conducting such programs and activities, including institutes and centers.  Self-supporting, instructionally related programs and activities conducted by a campus auxiliary organization shall not use the California State University name or representation in any manner.  This prohibition extends to the use of the University’s name, symbols or abbreviations.

For non-instructional services or self-supporting instructional programs sponsored by auxiliary units, the Office of Conference Services deposits its revenues in accounts through the Cal Poly Foundation.  For instructional self-support programs offered by a Cal Poly department, college, or other units and administratively handled by   Conference Services, all revenues are deposited in a Continuing Education Revenue Fund account in compliance with Executive Order 794.
